Today our Literacy group walked around the block to pick up rubbish and plastic. It is June 8th and it’s World Ocean Day. There is so much plastic in the ocean, we need to clean up. 

We found heaps of stuff, like a sock, a fork, lots of plastic. We wore gloves to protect us and we filled two rubbish bags. Most of the rubbish had blown under the trees and bushes. 

I didn’t really enjoy collecting rubbish, people should not litter.
